Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Coordinator

The coordinator is responsible for the overall operation of the Behavioral Health outpatient program including the following: fiscal management, clinical duties, census development, referral management, program supervision, program operations, new patient orientation, and any other duties requested by leadership team.



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Daily oversight of outpatient program including supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Coordinator coordinates daily with transportation and marketing to ensure smooth operation of Outpatient program.
  • The coordinator supervises daily billing of group activities, ensures medical records are satisfactory, communicates with Nursing director and Medical staff.
  • The coordinator reports directly to hospital administrator/program director.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Social work, Psychology or related degree required.  

Minimum Experience: Knowledge of Intensive Out-patient services required. At least one year of experience in leadership in Behavioral Health Intensive Out-patient setting required. Ability to lead clinical team and create an environment of quality, respect and dignity for all who seek our services.

Req. Certification/Licensure: L.C.S.W., L.M.F.T. required. Current BLS certification.
